Like most people, I never seem to find enough time in the
month to do all the things I'd like to do - and of course there's never
enough money to pay for them! But I consider myself fortunate to
have plenty of interests.

Environment
Protecting the environment and helping us
move towards a sustainable future has always been part of my life.
It remains one of my strongest hopes.
|
Cycling
I rode my first bike when I was 9 or 10,
but it wasn't until I reached 17 that I discovered the joys of club
cycling. Once bitten, I never looked back. |
Badminton
Badminton captured my imagination in Year 10 at KEVICS, and
I've continued to enjoy the game ever since. |

|
Poultry
A family friend kindly gave me a pair of Silkies when I was
a toddler, they just kept on breeding .. |
Film-making
It's hard to know when film-making took hold of me, but it
probably goes back to KEVICS again. |
Music
Music has always been a major part of my life. It
must be in my genes! |
| |
|
|
Computer programming
It's hard to describe the excitement I found in computers
way back at KEVICS, but it continues to this day. |
Working with children
Sometimes hard work, but definitely the most rewarding of
all my activites. |
Other Interests
Star Trek & Doctor Who, Green Party, vegetarian diets,
gardening, teaching, electoral reform, maths & science, movies, local
community.
